A mineralization in Madaya township is Phayaung taung Copper associated with orogenic goldquartz veins. And the host rock is phyllite, quartzite and geological setting of this area is slate, phyllite & quartzite of the Chaung Magyi Group (Late Proterozoic). And the datas concern with submitting geo-sample is, it is the fault contact of Permian age, light grey to grey color, fine grained dolomatic limestone and Jurassic age, brown color, thin bedded siltstone and reddish brown to yellowish brown color Quazite and conglomerate. The study area is closely located with western part of Sedaw Gyi fault.
